Small Infantry Shovel (MPL-50) – a small infantry shovel, a length of 50 centimeters, a wearable shantse tool of ordinary and sergeant personnel of the Red Army and the USSR Armed Forces.
Characteristic
The width of the steel tray is about 150 mm;

The length of the shovel along with a wooden handle is about 500 mm;

The handle of an infantry shovel is made of hardwood and is not painted.
MPL with a handle can be used for self-defense.
