- Condition: Pre-Owned & taken care of Purinton Apple Art Rare 6.25" Rum Jug Slipware. 1950s Vintage Piece made in Shippenville, Pennsylvania at Purinton Pottery est. 1939 -1959. They made pottery comparable in quality & beauty to that of their contemporaries of the times. Each pieces individually hand painted, stencil & decals were NEVER used. This is part of the 1950s country line along with apple, fruit and Dutch motifs. In wonderful condition for its age. See pics for further description/condition. Happy Treasures Hunting !!1

Hand Painted red, Yellow , Green and Black Apple Design – Off White Glazed Rum Jug. The company made a collection of Stoneware of this motifs. Great Treasures to Collect. See pics.
